Students' Articles

My school is equipped with a library where we read to search for knowledge and also for amusement.

In the library, books are arranged according to subjects and classes, and they properly displayed on shelves.

On sides of the library hall, there are long tables and plastic chairs where we sit and read newspapers, journals and magazines.

Some take down notes. Nobody is permitted to talk or disturb others. Every class has one library period once a week.

Pupils are supposed to go to the library in that period and study. The library also has reference and textbooks. They are to be studied in the library itself.

The calm and quiet atmosphere of the library helps pupils to read attentively. The school librarian is a trained and qualified person with experience. She gives advice to pupils on the choice of books. She carries on her duty well and is of great help to pupils. We find her ready for us all the time. She advises pupils not to spoil books by scribbling on or tearing off pages.

Prayer is a spice of life! It is a special way of communicating to God.

Through prayer, God protects you from the power of the devil. Through prayer, God grants you good loving life, full of happiness.

Through prayer, you establish a strong bond with God the almighty!

There are several clubs in our school and every pupil belongs to at least one of them.

The club that I like best is the Scouts Club. Our club patron, Mr. Matege Samuel is a very determined and serious teacher.

He encourages us to do voluntary work in the entire school. We keep order in the dining, at the assemblies and at all school functions. I like the commitment of the members of my club

The 9th of October this year will remain in the memories of the Primary Seven candidates.

We celebrated our end of our primary school course in style. Buloba Forest Park Resort was a beehive of activities for the 250 candidates.

We played all sorts of games and ate all sorts of meals. What impressed me most was the Talent Show where we had Karaoke and stand-up comedy. My best presenter was Peter Travor the comedian from P.7Blue whose presentation made us laugh our lungs out. Long live my friends, long live Mbuya Parents school!

One of my best sports is swimming. I am happy with our school because we have one of the best swimming pools. Every class is allocated a day in the week when they have swimming lessons.

The swimming coach trains us in different swimming styles such as freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butter fly
